Training Class

In partnership with the Prince George Playhouse, Method Dance Society (MDS) offers a weekly class focused on contemporary dance methods and technique. These classes are taught by both local and visiting dance artists, providing a dynamic and enriching environment for professional development.

What is it?

At Method Dance Society (MDS), we are committed to redefining contemporary dance beyond traditional Western and neo-classical forms. Our aim is to broaden the understanding of what constitutes contemporary dance by incorporating a wide range of practices and techniques that reflect the unique perspectives of each instructor.

Our classes are conducted at a professional standard, with the content carefully curated by our executive team and individual instructors. We will announce the instructors and class details as they are confirmed, ensuring that we offer a diverse and up-to-date range of contemporary dance practices.

Instructors are selected based on their availability and are chosen to celebrate a wide range of dance practices and contemporary forms. This variety ensures that participants are exposed to a broad spectrum of techniques and perspectives within the world of contemporary dance.
